The parts were packaged well and nothing showed up damaged or questionable. Clearances checked out during assembly and the engine turned over smooth by hand before startup. After getting it back in the car and running, oil pressure came right up and it’s been quiet so far with no leaks.

Obviously it’s not OEM pricing, but for a full rebuild on a budget this kit makes sense. Plus, many of the parts are better quality if not the same as from dealer.
