'm a Master mechanic but I'm a cheap!! And I'm not willing to give Mazda $1,600 for this part so I bought this Chinese one with a 2-year warranty to see how long it lasts. I installed it today seems to be working just fine. feels like it's decent quality it's quite heavy but who knows I will keep this updated so far I got like 20 miles on it no issues. ..... UPDATE it's been about two weeks of abuse we even got some snow and it took it off roading in freezing wet snow and it did find... It goes into 4wd faster now but that's not the parts fault that's Mazda software when you replace this part your suppose to calibrate it to the vehicles ECU. And I have not done that. I might calibrate it later and leave an update but for now it's working good no complaints. UPDATE... it's been about 3000 miles now works great in been thru rain snow mud hills a few river crossing still kicking will see how long it last
