Valve body worked out great.
The valve body feels solid and well‑manufactured, and it fits properly when installed in place of the original unit. The parts were packaged well and nothing showed up damaged or questionable. Clearances checked out during assembly and the engine turned over smooth by hand before startup. After getting it back in the car and running, oil pressure came right up and it’s been quiet so far with no leaks.
