Our reproduction Prelude taillight gasket set consists of two gaskets, one for the driver side light and one for the passenger side light. Made from Automotive Grade Gasket Material, this set will not leak like the factory seals. We use 0.280" thick foam gasket material to create a super, watertight seal. As with all of our gaskets, there is no need for adhesive. Our gaskets are laser cut for a perfect fit and are held in place with factory mounting locations and screws.

I used this rebuild kit on a G4NH 2.0L while freshening up an engine out of a 2019 Elantra, and overall it went together without any major issues. Everything in the kit matched up to the factory parts and tolerances looked good. Bearings, gaskets, and seals all fit the way they should.
The parts were packaged well and nothing showed up damaged or questionable. Clearances checked out during assembly and the engine turned over smooth by hand before startup. After getting it back in the car and running, oil pressure came right up and it’s been quiet so far with no leaks.
Obviously it’s not OEM pricing, but for a full rebuild on a budget this kit makes sense. Plus, many of the parts are better quality if not the same as from dealer. If you’re doing the work yourself and double-check measurements like you should, it’s a solid option and saved a lot over dealer parts.
