Feature:?
Multi-displacement Svstem (MDS for short) is a unique engine technology; if the engine adopts MDS technology, it can switch the working cylinder of the engine between 8-cylinder and 4-cylinder.At the same time, the MDS system can run with 4 cylinders or 8 cylinders by judging the engine load and working conditions. The engine closes 4 cylinders symmetrically, and the remaining 4 cylinders form a V4 engine, so that the engine can still maintain Better ride comfort; in addition, the data given by engine manufacturers equipped with the MDS system is a 20% increase in fuel economy.

This technology is most suitable for multi-cylinder engines, and effectively reduces fuel consumption during traffic jams without affecting the driver's pursuit of the acceleration stimulation of large-displacement models. For example, after a conventional 8-cylinder engine adopts this technology, it is equivalent to installing two independent 4-cylinder engines, which can run one engine and let the other rest according to the needs of driving.

Buying these four cams locally. We're around $1,000 so I took a gamble on these and I'm very impressed. So far the engine runs very smooth. I have over 10,000 mi on them at this time I guess we'll see how long they last. I do courier work. I put about 170,000 plus miles on my car every year so it won't take long to see if these last a while
I have 27,000 mi on these cams now and running as good as the day I installed them

At first I was very skeptical due to cost. I purchased all four camshaft for the price of one from the dealership. The job is not hard if you follow the proper steps. A must have is the timing tools. It makes the process so easy. After tear down and assembly the jeep fired off on the first crank. Very satisfying. Great investment.
