Valve body worked out great.
The valve body feels solid and well‑manufactured, and it fits properly when installed in place of the original unit. Once installed, the solenoid responsiveness improves gear engagement and helps restore consistent shifting behavior, addressing common CVT performance concerns. The unit integrates cleanly with the existing transmission harness and connectors.
Overall, this transmission valve body performs as described, offering dependable operation, precise fitment, and reliable shifting performance. It’s a practical replacement option for maintaining or restoring smooth CVT function in compatible Nissan Sentra and Versa vehicles.
I used this rebuild kit on a G4NH 2.0L while freshening up an engine out of a 2019 Elantra, and overall it went together without any major issues. Everything in the kit matched up to the factory parts and tolerances looked good. Bearings, gaskets, and seals all fit the way they should.
The parts were packaged well and nothing showed up damaged or questionable. Clearances checked out during assembly and the engine turned over smooth by hand before startup. After getting it back in the car and running, oil pressure came right up and it’s been quiet so far with no leaks.
Obviously it’s not OEM pricing, but for a full rebuild on a budget this kit makes sense. Plus, many of the parts are better quality if not the same as from dealer. If you’re doing the work yourself and double-check measurements like you should, it’s a solid option and saved a lot over dealer parts.
